Things I built on my own to learn and to solve problems I care about, mostly around farming and public data in Bangladesh.
Hackathon · Voice + AI
Built at a BAU hackathon. A farmer describes a crop, fish, or livestock problem by speaking Bangla. The case goes to the right local officer or university expert, and the farmer reads their answer in Bangla.
How it worksElevenLabs turns speech into text, and Gemini turns it into a case as JSON. The server routes it, and flags 3+ similar cases nearby as a possible cluster.
Vision · Bangla
A camera-first web tool for Bangladeshi farmers to identify crop diseases from leaf photos, get treatment advice in Bangla, and ask follow-up questions about safe chemical dosages.
How it worksClient-side canvas compression shrinks phone photos by 95% before Gemini 3.8 Flash identifies diseases via Vercel serverless functions, with Google Search-grounded chat and voice playback.
Multimodal RAG
Ask about a plant disease in English or Bangla, or upload a leaf photo. Answers come from a 948-page plant pathology textbook and cite the page they used, so they can be checked.
How it worksThe whole textbook sits in Pinecone as about 2,700 page-tagged passages. A question or leaf photo pulls up the closest passages, and Gemini 3.8 Flash answers from them with page numbers.
Data visualisation
A map of Bangladesh's 64 districts that you fill with your own data, like literacy rates. Each district is colored by its value, so patterns stand out.
How it worksRuns in the browser. Papa Parse reads the CSV, D3 builds the color scale, and Leaflet draws the map.
